Over 80 medical professionals from across Scotland attended the William Quarrier Conference Centre in Glasgow on Thursday 18 June 2015 for the launch of the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN) Guideline for Diagnosis and Management of Epilepsy in Adults.

The event was chosen to be held at the William Quarrier Conference Centre as a result of its working relationship with the adjacent William Quarrier Scottish Epilepsy Centre, a not-for-profit centre of excellence providing pioneering diagnosis and treatment for people affected by the condition.

SIGN Guidelines launch

Heather Thomson, Events & Accommodation Manager at the William Quarrier Scottish Epilepsy Centre said, “We are delighted to be hosting the launch of the SIGN guidelines. This is a great event for the Centre, fully utilising our facilities and resources for events and conferences while further supporting work in the specialist field of epilepsy.”
